                                    Finding a Big Bear Real Estate Agent

                                    Finding the right Big Bear real estate agent is important in your hour success of finding the perfect property.

                                    You should "click" with your Big Bear real estate agent and the agent must know you and your preferences well enough to show you the right homes. A good agent will ask you questions to determine what exactly you are looking for.

                                    In the case of Big Bear Real Estate agents, you might not be living locally and need someone to be able to assist you long distance, to do their homework and be able to communicate with you over the phone, email and fax.

                                    Once you and the agent spoke over the phone and you have confidence in his or her ability to represent you and your interests, be able to give your agent as much information as you can. In order for the agent to find you a house, cabin or land in Big Bear, the Realtor will need to know what exactly you are trying to find, your price range and personal preferences.

                                    It would be advantages for you to be pre-qualified through a lender so that both you and your agent know what price range you should be looking in.

                                    Make a list of your requirements and preferences. ie. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, location and lot size preferences.

                                    When talking to a perspective agent does he/she:

                                    • Listen to your needs?
                                    • Provide multiple phone numbers so they can be easily reached?
                                    • Return phone calls promptly?
                                    • Explain information and processes so you understand?
                                    • Do business frequently in your neighborhood?
                                    • Seem conversant about local market conditions?
                                    • Seem knowledgeable?
                                    • Have access to the Multiple Listing Service?
